About Us

Afya Plexus Wellness & Foundation was founded to address the often-overlooked challenges faced by dialysis and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients in Kenya.

While dialysis infrastructure has expanded significantly across the country, many patients still struggle to consistently access and adhere to treatment due to emotional, financial, logistical, and information barriers. We recognized that providing dialysis services alone is not enough ;patients need continuous support, coordination, and access solutions to achieve better health outcomes.

Our organization was born out of a deep commitment to holistic patient care. We believe healthcare should go beyond machines and medical procedures to include emotional well-being, patient education, transportation support, navigation assistance, and timely access to care.

Today, Afya Plexus is evolving into a technology-enabled patient support and healthcare navigation platform that connects patients, dialysis centers, nephrologists, and support services to simplify the dialysis journey and improve continuity of care.

Through our programs and digital solutions, we are transforming the dialysis experience from one of isolation and uncertainty into a pathway of dignity, empowerment, and healing.
